Dell PowerMax Storage Integration
Cirrus Migrate Cloud provides builtin integration with DellEMC PowerMax Storage.
Dell PowerMax CMC integration provides the following functionalities:
Via Unisphere for PowerMax, automatically provision destination volumes from PowerMax over FC
[FC] Automatically configure host mpio configuration
To enable integration, go to Cirrus Data Cloud portal and do the following:
Go to the Project you want to enable integration in.
Navigate to Integrations -> Goodies.
Under Dell EMC PowerStore (FC), click Add.
Provide the integration a descriptive Name, and credentials:
Server Address: The Unisphere API endpoint to be used by CMC. Default Unisphere Management API port should be 8443. e.g. https://172.10.1.2:8443
Username: Username of the Unisphere user account
Password: Password of the Unisphere management user account
Array ID: The ID of the PowerMax array to be used. This can be obtained from the Unisphere UI.

Select an existing host with CMC deployed to be used for verifying connectivity.

Click Save. If connection from the specified host to the PowerMax array via Unisphere management API is verified and validated, a new integration will be enabled.
Once an integration is created, during the creation of a new migration session, you can click on Auto Allocate Destination Volumes to automatically allocate new volumes from your PowerMax array.
New volumes will be created with same size as the source volume's size
The Service Level and Storage Pool attributes can be customized for each volumes. If left blank, it will be default to Diamond service level and the system default storage pool.

New Host entity will be created if not already exists. All host FC initiators (or iSCSI initiator iqns) will be added to the host entity.
If an existing host entity with any of the FC/iSCSI initiators already exists, it will be reused.
Port Groups and New*Volumes** will be created and provisioned through all storage target ports. You can adjust the paths according to your needs via fabric zoning or LUN masking in Unisphere after the volumes are provisioned.
Newly provisioned volumes will be assigned to the newly created or existing host entity above by creating new Storage Group and Masking View.
