If Remote Assistance is enabled on your project, authorized Support Representative from Cirrus Data can join your project. Support Representatives who joined your project will have a Support role that is equivalent to an Operator.

By design, it is impossible for anyone from Cirrus Data to access your host and your host's data. See Are Data Securely Transferred During Migration? and Metadata Transferred from CMC to Cirrus Data Cloud to learn more.

All existing project members will also receive an email notification whenever a new support representative joins the project.

Enable Remote Assistance

To enable remote assistance, go to Project Settings from the side menu of your project, and select Enable.



Disable Remote Assistance

To disable remote assistance, go to Project Settings from the side menu of your project, and select Disable.

Note: Once disabled, all existing support representatives will be removed from your project.
